"MIT '10s in the news"

Over the next week (or so), I'll be publishing newspaper articles I've collected from across the web (via newsfeeds) about members of the Class of 2010 (if there was a newspaper article about you, feel free to send a link my way). It's nice to read about MIT MMX like celebrities!

Today, we'll start with an article about the awesome Eletha Flores, and I've got about a week's worth to follow. At the conclusion of this series, I plan to answer all of the questions you've left in the comments.

Hi since you'll be answering next week i thought i'd leave my question here

"Hey Matt,

I am writing after a long time...how are you...Well as i did not get into MIT this year...i am going off to college at Worcester Polytechnic (thats near boston yay)...i am thinking about applying as a transfer so i needed to consult which courses i should look into (in general) and what kind of a performance i should maintain in college to be up and running for admission consideration,....Also is there a time when prospective transfers can come visit....

"

I hope i am not posting this in the wrong place, in that i dont really know whether you deal with transfer admissions or not..

O______O you found the article about me, didn't you....

what's your email address?

Posted by: cristen on July 26, 2006 10:25 PM

Hey Shikhar,

Your problem is actually a "feature" of most browsers. The browser stores a cached version of any website you visit, and then displays the cached version if you visit that website again (to avoid having to re-download the page..)

Netscape was still displaying its cached version of this page after you posted, so it seemed like your post didn't work.

Go to Edit->Preferences->Advanced->Cache, click Clear Cache, OK, and then navigate to this blog again. Your browser will then download the current version of this page.

Hope this helps a bit.

-Adam
