"We Brought Something?"
There was snow?
I kid, I kid. I stayed up for most of the night with Colin '10, Nina '08, and Timur '10 waiting for it to snow. A couple of hours after I left them to go back to my room, snow it did. It wasn't much, but it was nice. Two hours later, it looked like there were rain puddles everywhere.
That was in no way what I'd been looking forward to.
Maybe tomorrow. (The Weather Channel shows clear skies for the next ten days, though - unfair!)

You'll be sick of it soon enough. But for the first month or so, it's really fun! Then it just gets miserable and looks like the sun will never shine again and the world is entering another ice age. :P

Ok, so you and I are both from Florida... And like art?
Well anyway, I can't sleep because when I go to bed I dream it's Saturday and there's this question bothering me: How important are the personal essays? I read the information about it on some MIT page thing but I just don't quite get the feel for how important or how much they are taken into account for while reading apps...
THANK YOU

Not much snow, oh gee that sucks! : )
Maybe next time it will snow for hours.
I know people do get tired of it, but I never do.

Andy: That's what it's like winter anywhere that it's rainy all winter-but without the plus side of snowball fights and pretty white stuff

I was just browsing your livejournal and saw the wonderful link that brought me to your new blog. I was curious (of course, since when am I not?) and voila! here I am now posting a comment to you. I didn't know just how amazing this was until I went to scroll over the other bloggers and realized just how few there are of you guys. So, since I can't remember if I said it before, congrats my Keri the Great, from the Almighty Aly.
Oh, yeah, haha about the snow! I miss snow, lol.

KERI! You should write a post about admissions-related freak outs and meltdowns (and subtly mention me) and tell your devoted readers that college admissions is not the end of the world.
Or maybe I just really want to be mentioned in your (awesome) blog. ;)

Snow is sweet. Then it gets brown and slushy and no one can drive anywhere.
Well, that's what happens in Ohio anyways.
