"I'm in New York"

Staying with my friend Larisa in her and her mom's swanky apartment across the river from the city.

And taking some pictures. Finals seemed like forever ago.

Taking the train back to New Haven tomorrow.

of all the ways to deal with the first poster, the way you do it is the way i appreciate the most

keep calm and carry on, or whatever

Agree with Sam -- best way to deal with first poster.
Am jealous of Larisa's apt.
Thanks for all the posts. Have a great '09.

I can see my apartment building in your second picture -- I live on the Manhattan side of the river, just south of the GW Bridge =)

Dunno if anyone's asked before, but what kind of camera do you have Lulu? (another canon powershot g9?)

Posted by: anon on December 27, 2008 10:18 PM

i have a digital SLR - canon rebel. one of the cheapest but it has never let me down.

Posted by: lulu on December 28, 2008 12:07 AM

Wow. I was looking online at cameras and I was almost going to get a Canon rebel. Then I went to the store and saw how huge it was. And now I have a regular canon point and shoot, which are admittedly still better than any other brand of point and shoot.

Posted by: anon on December 28, 2008 11:09 PM

yeah dslr's are quite a size up from point and shoots. the powershot is a great camera though. my boyfriend has one and it's almost as good for when I don't wanna lug around my camera case.
