"I have the best girlfriend ever"
I bought a new mouse on woot.com the other day for $13.37 and I must say, it's very nice, but when my girlfriend came into my room she inquired "Where's your mousepad?"
"Well . . I don't have one. . . but look, it still works!"
A week later, after I had totally forgotten about this 5 second conversation, she gives me this.

She 'shopped the spork in just for me! I have the best girlfriend ever.

What is this blog related to undergraduate admission?

@Anonymouse
It shows how at/around MIT you can get the necessary resources to make such adorable presents for your loved ones! Plus it also shows what kind of charming people you will meet at the institvte thus presenting you a more vivid display to the picture of MIT you already have in mind.

@ FuLanKe,
Great point. Plus it shows that domo kun uses a fork the same length as his height. =D

LOL! These comments are getting so random. Especially in the sense that some comments are based off of stereo-typical assumptions.

If I know what a grue is, does it give me advantage in the selection process?
Posted by: Anonymous on December 5, 2009 01:30 PM
^You have been eaten by a grue! :o
But awesome gift. Domo-kun for the win!

She is sweet alright.. but still, I'm sorry to tell you that you don't have the best gf in the world. My boyfriend does :P

Are you people really getting pumped up over a mouse pad? That's Ridiculous!
There is a great Way to deter prospective applicants.
How about blogging about something people will genuinely find interesting. Instead of "Hey everyone, I HAVE A GIRL FRIEND!" Seriously man, re-evaluate.
