"I'm a driver, I'm a winner"
Tonight I won the MIT Marching Band's coveted SPAM scholarship. As those of you who know me can guess, the other six entrants were really no competition for me in the field of SPAM. Here's my award-winning speech.
"My name is Sam, and my nickname is actually Spam. You can call me Spam, Spammy, Spamalot, Spamtastic, or Spamalicious... if you're not into the whole brevity thing."
This is sure to be one of the prouder moments of my life... at least, until next Thursday. Oh, next Thursday.
What am I doing now that I've won this most presitigious of awards? Sitting in lab and organizing data to send to Andy in Switzerland so he can keep getting his funding for grad school. Woohoo!
