"Gotta Catch 'Em All!"

I used to play Pokemon. I won't lie.

One could possibly say that Boston is a living GameBoy game this summer with the Cow Parade.

All across Boston, the Jimmy Fund has been sponsoring The Cow Parade which basically involves a bunch of artistic cows placed over the city.

A friend of mine has decided that she wants to catch them all with her camera this summer; I'm not completely sold on the idea, but I did see this cow, and the artist must have been someone after my own heart.

A DUCT TAPE COW!!!

Duct tape and I are best friends. My 2.007 car had a few couple strips here and there. I taped my favorite pair of running shoes back together with it too. However, I did not wear a duck tape tuxedo to my prom.

Maybe I'll go to the Duck Tape Festival next year. Anyone from Avon, Ohio?

Tomorrow: How I selected the schools I applied to

Oh, so *that's* what they're all for! I wondered about the glittery blue ones in Copley Square, and the zillions that just about line Newbury Street...

When I visited Moscow last summer I saw many similar artistic cows around the city. Is this an international thing?

Looking forward to your post about how you selected which schools to apply to.

Bryan, I am at work and you have me so excited about going to next year's Duck Tape Festival that I almost threw up.

I think the Cow Parade is an international thing, though, because last year sometime when I was home for Spring or Summer break, they were in my hometown of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I don't know why, really. But I think there are still two of them hanging out in our train station.

In Georgia (Sandy Springs, around Atlanta) we have turtles instead of cows. Someone stole two of them and threw one into a pond, where it was found some time later. I think I like cows better, though.
