"Beat It, Bump It, Spike It"
I always wondered what it would be like to go to one of those really hardcore sports universities, then I had the chance to get it at MIT.
Last night, the MIT women's volleyball team defeated Bridgewater State College to advance to the semifinal of the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball New England Regional (more details here). Now I've been to sports games here at MIT, but I've never seen Rockwell Cage that packed. People with signs, painted chests, but unfortunately no pots and pans.
I guess I have another chance to do that tonight?

The volleyball hat in the last picture is so classy, I want one! I don't think I'll be able to find a volleyball to dissect before tomorrow's exeter-andover volleyball match, though: a true shame.

!!!!!!!!!!!!! VOLLEYBALL !!!!! I love that sport. when you get a chance, take a look at men's (indoor) volleyball too. it's jam packed with action.

haha, they faced Bridgewater State? that school is oh....about 500 feet from my high school. Sorta ironic/funny. Too bad they lost, but WOOT MIT!

I love volleyball too. It's nice hitting the balls. How does one join MIT sports team?
