"I've got iChat and widgets a-plenty."

(As a disclaimer, and also to give credit where due, my sister took these pictures, and all were spur-of-the-moment.)
(Well, maybe not the eating the Apple one.)

(Please note that comments are closed after 30 days to reduce spam.)Little mermaid! I haven't watched that in years.
I was thinking of going Mac, but wimped out and went with a Dell Inspiron. And now I hear that recent Dell computers come complete with exploding batteries?

Oh man, I am too lazy to even crop my pictures any more because it makes batch editing more difficult, and here you are with your multicolored text and witty captions. You are a god among bloggers. Now I understand why Colin married you.

Yeah, she does this ALL THE TIME. I'm actually too lazy to upload pictures, let alone crop or caption any of them. So as far as image editing goes, JKim wears the pants. ;)
(I also married her for the late-night activities she loves so much. [Yes, I AM talking about backgammon and Trivial Pursuit. How did you know?])

Colin, you just think they're late night because of the time difference. I used to wonder why she only signed on to aim at 1:30 am and then I remembered. :D
OH BUT GR8 POST. Since you posted this on Xang too, and I already commented there, I don't really know what to do with myself.

I haven't checked your xanga yet, so.
YAY MACBOOK. Sweet, gorgeous Macbook.
I am so picture-lazy it's not even funny. Actually, I stopped taking pictures this summer when I got fed up with my webcam-quality camera. Thankfully, the brick will go away soon enough.

I bet I'll be seeing this on Reuse in a few months:
"1 Apple Macbook, used. Great shape, other than a few bite marks on the corner. Slightly soggy."
Any takers?

I've been thinking about getting a Mac for a while, but I'm such a wimp when it comes to change. The whole "no right click" thing would freak me out to no end.
I'm interested to see how this turns out for you, since you've pretty much got the same experience with Macs as I do.
On a completely unrelated note: 100% photo blog = amazing.
(I'm a new reader here, so you've never seen me before.)

Colz - nobody plays backgammon anymore unless they're a previously paralyzed bald guy crashed on an island.
Anon - love to. Who are you?
Joe - a few MONTHS?? Oh come on, give me a LITTLE credit!
Andrew - I'm a new writer here, so I've never seen me before either. :)

Fine, fine. A year. Still, I've got five bucks and a batch of cookies that you'll come back to the dark (read: stubborn/foolish) side of the motherboard. [insert evil laugh]

Excuse me, but I happen to like backgammon.
DOUBLE SIXES WHOOOOOOOO!!!

Good to see you've made the 'switch.'
Try http://osx.iusethis.com. (http://osx.iusethis.com/tag/ftp, specifically for ftp programs).
Oh - And nice hair cut :)

Well that explains why you're in the guest blog. :)
I noticed that after the comment was posted.
(I sure hope html works in these comments, because I'm gonna look really stupid if it doesn't.)

OS X is very right click friendly. You have three options:
Plug in a mouse. OS X supports two button mouses without any problems.
Ctrl+click is a right click.
Go to System Preferences->Keyboard and Mouse->Trackpad and turn on "Place two fingers on trackpad and click button for secondary click." Secondary click - right click.
For FTP, everyone says that Transmit is a god among FTP clients, but MIT provides Fetch for free from http://web.mit.edu/ist/software/
