"Final Examination Nation"
3 Finals this Week
Today: 2.005: Thermal Fluids Engineering
Tomorrow: BE.370: Quantitative Physiology I
Wednesday: 2.002: Mechanics and Materials II
Before I begin to arduously study for my 1:30 final, I thought I'd leave you with a little musical treat that I received in my inbox this morning.
To: Bryan
From: Matt
Sung to the tune of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive"
At first I was afraid; I was petrified,
Thinking I could never live with thermo by my side.
Then I spend so many nights getting all the answers wrong And I grew strong And learned that I could scrape along!
And now you're back
From vector-space;
I find you here with heat transfer
Across the interface -
I should have measured heat;
And the change in energy;
If I had, then I'd have known
How much work you'd give to me!
I will survive
2.005
Oh, as long as I know how to punt
I know I'll stay alive
I've got all my text to read;
I've got all my heat to bleed.
I will survive... 2.005!

Haha, nice job getting the spotlight... I was trying to set everything I learned in 5.13 (Organic II) to REM's "End of the World" last term, but then I decided that the time would be better spent actually studying. It did have a nice chorus, though--"It's the end of the term as we know it, and I fear finals."

Tee. Hee. I started singing that randomly, and my sis got confused, so I had to sing it all over again for her. It was pretty funny.

That's an awesome song. I'm a fan a of musical(lyrical) parodies, having written several of them myself. Most of my songs are about Star Wars, so I totally appreciated the Star Wars musical. Unfortunately, I live a few thousand miles away and didn't get to see it.
